Studies in Classical Language & Research Centre, at, SRFGCC, Belagavi. Started
in the year 2013 It has a strength of 280 students of Bachelor of Arts and
Eight research scholars are pursuing the Ph.D. The department is involved in
Teaching- Learning programmes.

Assistant Professor
Dr Hanumantappa Sanjeevannavar is working as Assistant Professor at Rani Channamma University, Belagavi since 2012. He passed NET in 2000 and B. Ed in 2011 and SET in the same year. He published more than eight books related to Kannada Literature. Among these books ‘Kannada Literary Contribution of Haveri District’ (ಕನ್ನಡ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹಾವೇರಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಕೊಡುಗೆ) was a important work. Another book ‘Innelli Satya’ (Where is Truth), ‘Nigooda’, ‘Devagiriya Ganajhari’, ‘Vandanmale’, ‘Kruti Sweekruti’, ‘Jeevajantu’, ‘Bhoga Bhumi’, is an important study of contemporary literature. He published many Research Articles related to Kannada Literature and Culture. He served in many university positions like Local Head of the Department at SRFGCC, and Belagavi for Kannada Studies. Dr. SADASHIV S. MUGALI: Full Time Guest Faculty Sangolli Rayanna First Grade Constituent College, Belagavi. Dr. Sadashiv S. Mugali has obtained his M.A in Ancient Indian History and Epigraphy (1st Rank with Gold Medal). He has awarded M. Phil in 2005 from Karnataka University, Dharwad. He has completed P.G. Diploma in Epigraphy, P.G. Diploma in Jainology, P. G. Diploma in Archaeology Culture & Tourism. He has awarded Ph. D from Rani.Channamma University, Belagavi in 2019. He has Passed NET and SET exams in 2012. He has served as a history lecturer for 15 years at degree colleges. He has published 35 Research Papers. 45 Research Papers presented in State, National and International seminar and conferences. He is a Annual member of Indian History Congress, Life Member South Indian History Congress, Karnataka Itihas Academy, Karnataka History Congress and R C U College History Teacher’s Association. She has awarded Ph.D from Bangalore University. She has passed P.G. Diploma in Tourism. She has cleared SLET Exam in 2012. She has served as History Lecturer for last 9 years. She has Published 25 Research Articles with ISSN and ISBN. She has Presented 35 Research Papers in State National and International Seminars, Conference and Workshops.
