As it celebrates its Decennial year Rani Channamma University stands to meet the enormous expectations of society. Being the constituent College of the University, named after Sangolli Rayanna, known for his strength, patriotism and sacrifice towards nation, The college aims at nation building through nurturing potential of the youth. Since its founding in 2006, we the team of Sangolli Rayanna First Grade Constituent College, are making efforts to touch the lives of every student by inculcating efficiency. creativity and compassion to work for the betterment of the marginalized and rural sections of society. We attempt to promote the student's sense of responsibility, honesty and above all commitment to human values. As the Principal of this esteemed Institution, I am determined to strengthen our activities to assemble more resources and create encouraging ambience for our faculty, students and staff to actualize their potential.

Our college is known for rendering quality education at affordable fees even to the rural background students. With the introduction of "Credit Based Choice System" (CBCS) at the undergraduate level we stand committed to impart best of its value to each student. Providing adequate infrastructure is always a priority. We have built our new campus with a state-of-the-art infrastructure in the heart of the city, that covers well equipped and spacious classrooms, separate laboratories, well stacked library and a multi gym for overall development of students. Our students form the core of our institution. hence we want to nurture their positive ideas and make them focused towards education and give wings to their dreams, thereby making their family and society proud of their achievements.
