About Admissions

The PG-Director of the University holds the responsibility of the entire admission process of Rani Channamma University, Belagavi on the basis of admission policies prescribed by the University or directed by the Government of Karnataka. The Departments may prescribe any kind of requirements over and above the specified minimum marks/CPI (Cumulative Performance Index).

Post-Graduate Admission

The University notifies the date of admission for PG studies during the month of July every year after the announcement of UG results. Eligibility Requirements: a) The eligibility conditions given below are the absolute minimum criteria. Departments may prescribe or suggest any requirements over and above. b) The specified minimum marks/CPI (Cumulative Performance Index), referred to in subsequent sections, implies a minimum of 45 percent marks /4.5 (on a 10 point scale) as long as it is not less than the minimum pass marks/CPI; otherwise, the specified minimum marks/CPI implies the minimum pass marks/CPI.
