About Cell:

The objective of the OBC and Minority cell is to facilitates the UG and PG students of poor background in the college for their academic and personality development for their better future prospect. The Cell aims to boost the equal opportunities in education for OBC and minority students to bring them into main stream on par with other students. Through the cell the students facilitated the financial supports in form of scholarships, incentives, rewards, projects and educational loans from various government and private agencies and financial institutions. Apart from these the cell committed to afford assistance to the OBC and minority students through counselling, personality development, development of communication skill, remedial coaching, tutorial classes, and preparatory classes for professional and employment purposes, etc. The Cell is actively engaged in coordinating and resolve the problems in the matter of conduct of remedial coaching and other measures with a view to see that the education system succeeds in bringing the OBC and minorities to a level quantitatively as well as qualitatively indistinguishable from the level of the rest of the

First Semester (18.10.2022)
The OBC and Minority cell was formed with four members.
The chairman put forth the aims and objectives of this committee.
Cell discussed about various scholarships given to the students.
Information about the schemes of Government and University was taken.

Second Semester (20.05.2023)
The review of issues discussed in previous meetings was taken.
Cell gives necessary information given to the office staff regarding OBC and Minority students.
Follow up of scholarships was taken.
