About Cell:

Women Empowerment Cell is designed to empower women socially, economically, politically, and legally with a focus on promoting decision-making. It conducts various activities and arranges Guest Lectures to accelerate academic enhancement, leadership development, and cultural enrichment in the lives of young women.

VISION:
To empower, and enlighten young women and pave their way to grow into successful women in society.

MISSION:
Creating awareness among the students about their social, legal, and constitutional rights to prevent exploitation based on gender.
Providing a platform to express their ideas through various activities like Skits, Slogan writing, Debate, etc.,
Eliminating under-esteem, deep-rooted beliefs of gender bias, and discrimination.
Motivate to take steps towards positive action to protect nature and the environment.

Impart ethical values, positive self-esteem, and confidence in young women so that they can take the decision.

Cell Activities:

To promote a culture of respect and equality for the female gender.
To organize awareness programs on gender sensitization.
To Arrange seminars that create awareness of the economic, social, political, and legal rights of women.
To conduct seminars and workshops to impart knowledge of opportunities and tools available and train the women.
Organizing different activities to make women aware of their health, sports, self-defense, etc.,
Conducting various competitions to encourage their artistic talents.
Highlighting the importance of spirituality, health, hygiene, and safety.
Women’s Day celebration.


The Principal himself, to be sworn into a never-before taken Pledge which goes thus:

“I take this pledge in the name of my mother
I will always treat all women with dignity and respect
I will never physically or mentally abuse any women
I will remain committed to the elimination of violence against women”.


The girls too had their Pledge time which goes thus…

“I will always consciously value and protect my dignity and self-respect
I will not tolerate any physical or mental abuse
I will remain committed to the elimination of violence against women”.

Cell Objectives:

Organize events and activities for women's empowerment and to create an environment to realize their full potential.
To conduct workshops and awareness programs with a motive to train girls about self-defense, health benefits, and skill development.
To empower the status of women through education, raising awareness, literacy, and training.
To empower women to make life-determining decisions through the different problems in society.
To create social awareness about the problems of women, particularly regarding gender discrimination.
To develop the self-confidence of Women.
To guide about Women's Welfare Laws.
To direct Women’s role in society.
To develop a multidisciplinary approach for overall personality development.
