About Cell:

The Sangolli Rayanna First Garde Constituent College's "Career Guidance, Training and Placement Cell" is dedicated to playing a significant role in providing passing students with the necessary training and job opportunities by maintaining contact with reputable businesses and industrial establishments. The Placement Cell works throughout the year to create connections between companies and graduating students. The placement cell has also made a major effort to prepare students for all types of competitive tests by providing them with cognitive and general aptitude training.

The placement cell also recognises the students' interests and initiates career counselling activities as early as the first year. The cell organises a variety of events and training sessions throughout the year, including mock interviews, group discussions, workshops on communication skills, and the Public Sector Exam Training for students who are interested in working in the government. Additionally, it invites corporate HR Managers from other industries to lead training sessions for final-year students.

To facilitate the development of students by providing them with opportunities for industrial exposure, professional training, and career guidance. We strive to establish strong relationships with industries and organizations to create placement opportunities for students.

Cell Objectives:

*  To develop a database of industries and organizations to identify employment opportunities for students.
*  To organize industrial visits and workshops to provide practical exposure to students.
*  To provide training on soft skills, interview techniques, and resume writing to enhance the employability of students.
*  To facilitate campus recruitment drives by inviting companies to visit the college for recruitment.
*  To provide career guidance and counselling services to help students make informed decisions about their career choices.
*  To maintain a database of alumni and use their expertise and network to create employment opportunities for students.
*  To continuously monitor and improve the placement process to ensure maximum placement opportunities for students.
